New Experience

Steven is tackling a new project-building a storage shed with no plans. A man who builds these was supposed to come help, but didn't, so Steven has taken on the challenge. Dan came over to help yesterday afternoon. It's coming along nicely! I think next week is Steven's vacation. We've got several projects to get done around the house, a meeting with the financial ministry and hopefully good weather so we can enjoy the boat a little.

Branson Trip

Sarah and Hubert let us use the house in Omaha last weekend to take our friends, Dan and Karen, to visit Branson. We had such a fun time, even though it rained all day saturday. We took food to eat at the house and agreed to go out to eat for one meal during the weekend. We ate supper at White River Fish House. It was so neat inside. It was sitting on the water at Branson Landing. It is very "lodge like" with places to sit on couches, fireplace, and enormous windows that could be open to enjoy the lake. It was enjoyable to get away and enjoy the quietness of Omaha.

Weekend Visit

We went to Harrison last weekend to visit with Mom, Dad, Landon, David, Stacey, Shelly, Alli. It was Landon's birthday and I think he enjoyed us all getting together for the day. We took baby Lainey's gifts and saw her room. With all the pink clothes spread out (being washed and folded) it appeared that pepto bismol exploded. ha ha! It was a lovely visit. I was able to visit with my sis and went shopping at a "girly" store with Mom. Steven was able to spray for weeds, bugs and put down a weed preventative for Mom so hopefully it'll help the job of pulling weeds this year.

Lisa's baby shower

Last night was Lisa Woods' baby shower. She's expecting their first baby girl! We had a chili feast. It was wonderful to visit with our long time friends. Here's a couple pics from our night.

Fearless

The men's conference at church was this weekend and it was a huge success! Glory to God! Us three women (Becky, Kelly, and Me) have been praying for it and for God to start a movement in our men. What evidence of God moving... two years ago the conference was canceled due to lack of interest, this year they expected around 500 and over 1,000 men came!
